Sauvignon Blanc, Marea

Bright yellow-green colour. This wine has an intense and diverse nose where aromas of tropical and white fruits,
such as passion fruit, pineapple and peach, combine, accompanied by green citrus aromas and a mineral
touch delivered by its coastal origin. The palate is fresh, vibrant and with fine touch of salinity.

Luis Felipe Edwards is a family owned and operated winery, with two generations actively involved in maintaining the brand as a synonym for quality and traditional family values. The facilities are located in the heart of the Colchagua Valley, where they combine traditional processes with state-of-the-art technology, allowing them maximum control and quality guarantee.

Marea wines are born in the Leyda Valley, one of Chile’s up and coming regions for premium cool coastal varieties. Due to the moderating effect of the Pacific Ocean, Leyda Valley has a cool, fresh climate, with minimal diurnal temperature variation. This region is irrigated with water from the Maipo River, originating in the Andes Mountains from snowmelt waters. Their Marea estate vineyards are some of the closest to the sea in Leyda and deliver wines that have fresh, concentrated fruit with a characteristic subtle salty minerality.
