Sauvignon Blanc ‘Castel Firmian’ Mezzacorona

Diverse notes of green pepper, elderflower, gooseberries, asparagus and tomato leaves in its bouquet. The grapes for this spicy white wine come from hilly vineyards at mid-altitude, located in the province of Trentino along the Etsch river. On the palate, the wine is fresh and pleasantly acidic.

Mezzacorona lies at the foot of the majestic Italian Dolomites. Its vineyards with pergola trellising, characteristic of the region, run from Lake Garda to the foothills of the towering Dolomites. These award winning wines are always beautifully made, clean cut examples of the grape variety they make wine from. Trentino is a land rich in natural beauty, history, castles and traditions. You can find Dolomitic peaks, plains and terraced fields where wine grapes have been grown since time can remember.
This is where Mezzacorona grows its vines using mainly the traditional “Trentina pergola” which has evolved from years of traditions and research into a production process which guarantees top quality.
