Urbina Crianza Rioja is ruby colour with garnet hues, mature, strawberry, vanilla nose. Smooth, velvety texture, red berries, nuts, spice, structured, persistent aftertaste. Tim Atkin says: “this pure Tempranillo is spicy, savoury, very, smooth with palate-caressing tannins and a balsamic flourish”

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Salvador Urbina in 1870 moved to Cuzcurrita and produced the first wine wines, with vineyards still used in Urbina wines.

His sons Ciriaco and Paquita continue the profession, and they are Pedro and Jesús Angel, grandchildren of Salvador, who in 1986 began to produce in the current cellar in stainless steel tanks.

Currently the winery leads the fourth generation, Angel, Pedro and Santiago are important professionals in the sector, (catadores, researchers, engineers and doctors), backed by a great winemaking experience.
