Morgon Côte du Py, Maison Piron 2014
£27.99
13.5% | 750ml
In stock
The Cote du Puy is the best vineyard within the cru of Morgon. Wines from these volcanic soils are even more concentrated and full bodied.
Dark fruits, currants and a good undertow of peppery spices. The wine has already aged beautifully but it has a long future ahead of it.
Why we love this:
Made in the typical Burgundian fashion, this shows the heights to which Gamay is capable of reaching when properly made.
Sinewy and deep, this easily challenges many of its Burgundian neighbours which are twice the price.
Simply a must-buy wine.
