Joseph Perrier Cuvee Royale Vintage 2013 Champagne
To the eye, elegant and golden colour.
The initial aroma is the delicate Chardonnay subtilty, combined with discrete and elegant flower fragrances and followed by hints of mandarin, orange and dried fruit.
A good complexity, straight forward to begin with, followed by rich fruity aromas, lightly grilled notes and a long, pleasant citrus fruit finish.
With 8 years on the lees this has a delicate savoury layer over the characteristic Joseph Perrier fruit. Long concentrated and set for a distinguished life this will repay ageing.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Champagne Joseph Perrier is a family owned, family run Grande Marque House founded in 1825 in Chalons en Champagne. It is run today by Benjamin Fourmon who is the sixth generation of his family to do so, since taking over from Joseph Perrier in 1888. The winery and cellars are in the city of Chalons with 3kms of galleries dug into the chalk where the champagnes are aged. With vineyards in Cumieres, Hautvillers, Damery and Verneuil the style is fresh and approachable with great appeal.
