Château Bastor-Lamontagne Sauternes, 2013
£21.99
13.5% | 370ml
The Château Bastor-Lamontagne is a 2013 Sauternes from Bordeaux, France. This sweet, white, dessert wine is made from Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grapes.
Half Bottle/37.5cl. A very good success, the 2013 vintage has a lively, very acidic, low sugar content on the palate, hence its great vigour. The wine is not coated but it retains the digestible side that characterises the terroir and the spirit of the vintage.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER
“Nil sine Fide”, the Château motto recalls the noble past of Chateau Bastor-Lamontagne.
Indeed, the property belonged to the royal estates until 1711. In the 19th century, Mr Amédée Larrieu, who was the owner of Chateau Haut Brion in Pessac, purchased Bastor-Lamontagne.
Since 2018 the Helfrich family, the new owners, have been writing a new page in the history of this great wine.
The Château is located in Preignac, in one of the five communes of the Sauternes Appellation and extends over 56 hectares in one single plot.
The vineyard has been certified Organic since the 2016 vintage.
