Sébastien Dampt has vines of 5 Hectares on several plots, the main one being a 45-year-old plot of vines. The other places: Vieille Voye, Champlain, Petit Léchet, Bois de Milly and Les Fontenilles. He is in his mid-thirties and learnt his craft at his father’s (Daniel) and brother’s (Vincent) vineyards Domaine Daniel Dampt, He vinifies in a concrete ‘egg’ with no oak, and the results are one of the most beautifully constructed Chablis, I have ever tasted with the quality and character being superb.
