Vergelegen Wines

Founded on 1 February 1700, Vergelegen (meaning “situated far away”), has been under the ownership of some of the world’s great explorers and visionaries.  A leader in conservation, two-thirds of its land has been restored to natural fauna and flora.  Since the production of its first wine in 1992, Vergelegen Estate and its wines have earned more than 200 awards, including winning the coveted Chateau Pichon Longueville Trophy twice for the Best Bordeaux Blend at the International Wine & Spirits Competition and multi-winner of the Great Wine Capitals Global Best of Wine Tourism Award.
