Joseph Perrier Brut Nature ‘Cuvee Royale’ NV Champagne

Joseph Perrier Brut Nature ‘Cuvee Royale’ NV has on the nose notes of delicate roses and peonies to begin with, which gradually intertwine with pronounced spicy fragrances. On the palate there is apple and pear together with peach and nectarine at first, followed by peppery flavours towards the end.
A Crisp refreshing Champagne from Joseph Perrier
Why we love this:
Joseph Perrier didn't rush to produce a NV Brut Nature, taking their time to determine the better cuvees and the right ageing profile for this style. The results have been well worth the wait.
The long aging fills the palate, and the fruitiness of the Chardonnay offsets the dryness beautifully.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Champagne Joseph Perrier is a family owned, family run Grande Marque House founded in 1825 in Chalons en Champagne. It is run today by Benjamin Fourmon who is the sixth generation of his family to do so, since taking over from Joseph Perrier in 1888. The winery and cellars are in the city of Chalons with 3kms of galleries dug into the chalk where the champagnes are aged. With vineyards in Cumieres, Hautvillers, Damery and Verneuil the style is fresh and approachable with great appeal.
