"All the best Medoc vineyards look onto the river".
As all the best Grands Crus from the Medoc area, Loudenne's vineyard benefits from an exceptional terroir: 2 gravely hills that slope gently down to the banks of the Gironde estuary.
Loudenne Médoc red is a blend 50 % Cabernet Sauvignon and 50 % Merlot aged for 12 to 16 months in French oak barrels.
It is a Cabernet driven Médoc, powerful and well-balanced expressing red and black fruit aromas blended with more complex flavours that are developing with aging.
Why we love this:
Classical Medoc wine with good structure and power. Drinking well now, the wine will also keep for at least ten years to come.
