Located in Southeastern Ardèche, the gravette terroir is a mineral soil made out of stones, sand and clay; our main terroir in Ardèche. On this latter we grow Chardonnay with plenty of freshness and a mineral signature.
Bright with lifted aromatics of lemon, melon and toast.
Medium weight with the lees adding complexity and depth. A very fresh finish keeping the wine light and supple.

Why we love this:

A well balanced Chardonnay. Some weight from the maturation but the finish keeps the wine fresh and pleasant to drink.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

The vineyard is located in the south east of southern Ardèche on the right bank of the Rhône valley.
It is located on clay-limestone, basalt and sandstone soils with the influence of a Mediterranean climate.
The harvest is made at night during the coolest hours, and a short maceration allows to obtain a beautiful deep pink color.
