Six Nations Wines

The Six Nations is back, and while we can’t predict the scores, we can certainly help you choose the perfect drink for match day!
Throughout the tournament, we’ll be sharing our favourite wines, whiskies, and spirits from (four of) the six competing nations – from bold French reds to smooth Scottish single malts.
Whether you’re toasting a victory or consoling yourself after a tough loss, we’ve got something to suit the occasion. Keep an eye on our social media and email updates as we spotlight the best bottles from Scotland, England, France, and Italy!
(PS: Sorry Ireland and Wales, we love you, but our shelves are lacking in anything from your great nations!)
England
England’s wine scene has flourished in recent years, with its sparkling wines now recognised among the best in the world. The chalky soils of the South and cooler climate create elegant, crisp wines with vibrant acidity – perfect for celebrating a Six Nations victory (or commiserating a loss).
France
A powerhouse of the wine world, France needs no introduction. From the finesse of Burgundy to the bold reds of Bordeaux, there’s a French wine for every occasion. Whether you’re raising a glass to Les Bleus or popping a bottle of Champagne for Scotland, French wines remain a firm favourite.
Ireland
Although we don’t have any Irish bottles on our shelves, there’s no mistaking Ireland’s rich drinking heritage. From smooth, triple-distilled whiskeys to its world-famous stout, the country is home to some of the most recognisable drinks in the world.
Italy
With its deep-rooted winemaking traditions and a vast range of styles, Italy offers something for everyone. Whether it’s a classic Chianti, a refreshing Pinot Grigio, or a bold Barolo, Italian wines bring a taste of la dolce vita to match-day gatherings.
Scotland
Scotland’s rugby passion is matched only by its world-class spirits. While whisky is the national treasure, Scotland also produces exceptional gins and liqueurs, from crisp, aromatic botanicals to rich, fruity flavours. Whether you’re raising a dram, mixing up a G&T, or adding a splash of something special to a cocktail, there’s no shortage of ways to toast the team.
Wales
While we don’t currently stock any Welsh drinks, the country is known for its traditional ales, crisp ciders, and a growing reputation for whisky. Whether you’re enjoying a pint of a locally brewed bitter or a dram from one of Wales’ rising distilleries, there are plenty of ways to support the team in style.
